Dr. Michael Zirkler, started his professional life as an entrepreneur in the media field, worked as a campaigner 
for personnel marketing, eventually studied psychology and sexual sciences at the University of Hamburg (Germany). In 2004, he was appointed as assistant professor (economics) at the University of Basel (Switzerland) and serves currently as professor at Zurich University of Applied Sciences, School of Applied Psychology (Zurich, Switzerland).
Presently he focuses on research and teaching in applied system sciences, critical management studies (primarily leadership and social sustainability) and international collaborations (Israel, India, China). He is particularly working on „ intelligent social systems designs“ in theory and practice and „education 4.0“. Intensive international consulting (change, leadership, architectures and designs for learning settings) for profit and non-profit organizations.
